Emily had her first slumber party on Friday, June 1st. She has been asking about having one for months,
so the beginning of summer seemed like a good excuse to have a slumber party.
After listening to them scream and giggle for
an hour, it was time to get organized. Everyone
created their own potted plant to take home the
next day. There was a lot of talk about how
beautiful their flowers were going to be the
next morning when they woke up ... so I had to
clear that up real quick with everyone.
J.T. had fun planting too ... so far, these girls
are pretty cool ... they like to play with dirt.

After we finished with the potted plants,
the girls decided to "hang out" around the
table to color and visit.
It wasn't long before the girls decided to
break out the P.J.'s and sleeping bags.
Once they got settled, we put in a movie.
J.T. didn't miss a minute of the fun ... he
was in there right until the very end (well
almost, he finally went to bed at 11:00). His
only point of frustration was that the girls giggled
and talked through most of the movies ... he had to
tell them "shhh" a few times.
